Tom Fern

Tom Fern was the first sales engineer for Burr-Brown Corp., a recognized world leader in the design and manufacture of precision integrated circuits. He retired after 27 years of service as the Senior VP, Sales and Market Development. During his career he increased sales for Burr-Brown from $500,000 per year to $150 million per year, representing a compounded annualized growth of 25% per year. He achieved that by establishing sales subsidiaries, sales offices, and manufacturer’s representatives in 40 countries on six continents. At Burr-Brown, Mr. Fern was a member of the Corporate Policy Committee for 20 years, and also served on the Corporate Grievance Committee and Personnel Council for 10 years. Mr. Fern is a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corp. and has experience serving on six boards.
