- Neil Kunst, Director of Engineering
- With more than 20 years’ experience in product engineering, systems engineering, test engineering, logic design, software development, and project management, Neil Kunst is extremely well-suited to direct the development of Ridgetop’s comprehensive prognostics and health management platform, Sentinel Network, which features a distributed software architecture with an embedded sensor network, centralized data collection, advanced reasoning, and asset management of complex mil-aero systems-of-systems.
- Prior to joining Ridgetop, Mr. Kunst helped found Tucson-based engineering firms Mosaic Design Labs (acquired by Micrel Semiconductor) and Palmtree Software and was instrumental in establishing the characterization laboratory and ISO-9001 quality assurance processes at SMSC’s Analog Products and Technology Design Center.
- Neil earned his BSEE from the University of Arizona, where he graduated magna cum laude and received several awards, including the Silver Bowl. He continues his tradition of delivering exemplary work at Ridgetop, where he hatched state-of-the-art silicon validation, power prognostics, and actuator prognostics laboratories. He has been recognized by NASA for outstanding performance on ground-breaking research related to electronic power system and electromechanical actuator prognostics.
