Ridgetop Wins $1.2 Million IT Network Prognostics Contract

SPAWAR logoRidgetop Group, Inc. , a Tucson-based advanced technology firm, announced that the Navy’s Space and Warfare (SPAWAR) Command Center in San Diego, has awarded the company a $1.2 Million Contract to provide advanced prognostic and diagnostic tools applicable to shipboard Information Technology (IT) Networks.

IT networks consist of varying numbers and configurations of computers, servers, hubs, printers and mass storage devices that are integrated and linked to provide office environment functionality, such as email, database access,  and documentation tools.  When configured aboard a ship with rigorous security requirements, specialized technology tools developed by Ridgetop will be employed to analyze and pinpoint performance problems and maintain high levels of service to users.

Doug Goodman, Ridgetop’s CEO commented; “As ‘dual use’ technology, the solutions developed by Ridgetop for SPAWAR will be applicable to any network where computers, printers, and other IT components are utilized.  We are grateful that SPAWAR selected Ridgetop for this program, and look forward to working with such a technologically-advanced customer.”
