Sentinel Network is a web application that combines network monitoring and prognostic health management (PHM) technologies. The main feature of Sentinel Network is its ability to predict the remaining useful life of network assets such as power supply devices (UPS) and battery backups. This reduces network downtime by permitting condition-based maintenance of these critical assets prior to catastrophic failure. Sentinel Network is part of the Sentinel IT™ product line.
Sentinel Network monitoring technology includes network discovery, IT asset inventory, and real-time device health monitoring.
A baseline network configuration is committed to the Sentinel Network database after initial network discovery. An SNMP agent is used to retrieve WMI data from IT devices. A built-in troubleshooter will resolve switch configuration management issues. The application also generates three types of alerts, which are sent via email to notify network administrators about events in the network.

- ZERO DOWNTIME :Network discovery, network configuration monitoring, WMI and registry monitoring, etc. Generate three classes of alerts crtical, warning, and informational. The administrotor specifies the content of the email alert to include relevant location and fault information.

Ridgetop is certified as category 1A under the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) as part of the Trusted Supplier Program. Ridgetop has history of designing analog and mixed signal ICs for demanding applications in space satellites that are subjected to extreme temperatures and radiation. Our designs have utilized bulk CMOS, CMOS-SOI, and SiGe at process geometries down to 28 nm channel lengths. Radiation hardness is also a concern, and Ridgetop has addressed those requirements as well. A recent Ridgetop design was delivered to ON Semiconductor for the U.S. Air Force STELLAR Star Tracker.
Under contract to NASA, Ridgetop designed an effective 3-axis wireless rotational sensor. The RotoSense™ sensor has been tested on fast-spinning pinion gears on helicopter gear boxes, and also rolling stock for railroad safety improvements.
